How do you get to Tamarindo by public bus?

The public bus line, Empresa Alfaro (tel. 222-2666), services Tamarindo twice a day, originating from the bus terminal at Avenida 5, Calle 14 in the center of San José. A departure at 11:00AM will get you to arrive in Tamarindo around 05:30-06:00PM, if you use the bus leaving at 03:30PM will arrive in Tamarindo around 09:00-09:30PM.
